More than 300 experts meet at the UMA in the largest meeting on cybersecurity

The main private event dedicated to the Internet securityUAD360, hopes to bring together more than 300 professionals in the next June 16 and 17 at the ETS of Computer Engineering at the University of Malaga.

The UMA School of Informatics will host this meeting on cybersecurity.

After its birth in 2019, UAD360 returns in its third consolidated edition as the great national cybersecurity event in Malaga, a meeting point for professionals in the sector where they can review industry news together. Once again, the congress has been organized by Hispasec, with the collaboration of the ETS of Computer Engineering of the UMA and companies in the sector such as Koodous, Fortris, Cajamar, Freepik Company, XM Cyber, and Eset.

During the two days, the symposium will have some of the greatest specialists in the country, such as the Lieutenant Colonel Pablo López of the National Cryptological CenterHe, Cybersecurity analysts in the cloud as Raquel Gálvez from Hispasec and the founder of VirusTotal and main promoter of the implementation of a Google cybersecurity center of excellence in Malaga, Bernardo Quintero, in charge of closing the congress. Among the relevant current affairs, Enrique Rando, from the Andalusian Digital Agency, will present the Andalusian Cybersecurity strategy.

“We have already reached the third edition of UAD360, so I think we can now say that we are a veteran congress and a must-see in the sector. We do so by once again increasing the number of speakers, all of them of a high level. And it is a good sign that some want to repeat it, like Bernardo Quintero and Sergio de los Santos, who were already in the first edition”, says Fernando Ramírez, CEO of Hispasec, a company that offers Una Al Día free of charge, the main newsletter of cybersecurity news in Spanish and organizer of this congress. “Everything we wanted to achieve when we created UAD360 we have already achieved, now is the time to think about the future”, adds the CEO of Hispasec.

The main talks and presentations will be given by Bernardo Quintero (Google), Sergio de los Santos (Telefónica Cibersecurity & Cloud Tech), Daniel Echevarri (Independiente), Pablo López (National Critical Center), David García (Telefónica Tech), Pedro Candell (aka S4urOn), Javier Rascón (Malware Analyst), Javier Guerrero (Netskope), Enrique Rando (Digital Agency of Andalusia), Daniel Romano (Security Analyst), Damián Ruiz (Singular Bank), José Luis Sánchez (Blackberry Cylance) and Raquel Gálvez from Hispasec.
